The District Calendar is missing events and appears to be a one-way street, in that member lodges do not have a clear means to communicate events to the calendar.  I suggest that a forum topic be added for calendar notices.  The person in charge of the calendar could review the forum postings and select appropriate additions, modifications, corrections, etc. to the calendar.  Otherwise, now and then check NewportElks.com because we try to include district events in our calendar.

How is it a one way street? ALL registered members here can place anything they want on the calendar. When you create a new topic, just fill in the date, the name for your event, and it will appear on the calendar.

Since the District Calendar covers events for 10 lodges, it is DEPENDENT on members from the 10 lodges to share information.

What person is knowledgeable enough with every event at every lodge to review the forum postings and select appropriate additions, modifications, corrections, etc. to the calendar?
